Curly McVicar - Drums & Vocals

Curly’s musical career began back in the late 60’s with the Bobby Johnson Big Band at Birmingham’s now infamous Tower Ballroom, where he spent several happy and successful years backing popular artistes of the time.

This was followed by a lucrative spell with Tommy Burton’s Sporting House Jazz Band which took Curly all over Europe and the UK touring top jazz venues and making numerous television appearances. After leaving Tommy, Curly moved on to the Rock and Pop circuit where he worked with many top professional outfits, this is when it was found he possessed a powerhouse voice.

Over recent years he has been a sought after session musician, not only for his fine drumming, but also for his tremendous vocal ability.
